A lot of 4 Japanese Kutani porcelain plates - 3 small, matching, plates painted with a pair of birds seated on an autumn maple branch, a pagoda and mountains in the distance with gilded borders, a diapered red & gold band at the edge of the lips, "Kutanit China" on the undersides D: 6 1/2" (16.5cm) - A serving dish with purple & yellow dragons emerging from blue clouds against a white ground, the curving lip with a pair of floral bands, the reverse with sections of green & yellow floral scroll around a purple & blue band at the base, the underside with 9 characters in Chinese. D: 11 9/16" (29.4cm) Condition: All in good condition with minor wear to the paint on one area of the smaller plates.
