Figure of an old man, late 19th century. This porcelain figure was cast in the 1900's and depicts an elderly man. The elderly man sits an octopus leg in one hand and a peach on the other. His skin is matte and has a texture due to the under-glaze used. His dress is predominately yellow, red and blue with black writing and ribbons. I single streak of green separates his feet from his clothing. He is bald and has a long beard and mustache. H: 8 1/8 in.(20.57 cm) Condition: in fair condition with a star shap glaze crack to the lower right corner of the figure extended to the base
