This junware cup features a thick teal glaze which is speckled violet. It’s foot is stout and left un-glazed with a small oval shape on the base revealing the bisque beneath. The body of the cup is circular in natural as it curves straight up. It’s rim has a sheer glaze which is lacking in color but is still reflective. It’s interior has a few small raised edges that appear to be the bisque coming through and the glazes violet speckles appear to form rows. D: 3.9 by 2 in (9.7 by 5.01 cm) Provenance: estate of Dr. Andrew Hopkins, acquired in Honkong in 1976Condition: in good condition with scatter glaze to the bottom and expected wear and scractch
