A pair of Chinese embroideries, vertically oriented, silk on silk, showing weapon wielding figures on horseback in a ravine of rainbow colored sedimentary layers, with blue borders decorated with flaming pearls & green floral scroll, these under glass in distressed golden frames with external black velvet fillets, the backings also of glass, so the embroideries can be examined front & back. H: 40 1/4" (102.2cm) Condition: An overall good condition with yellowing of both pieces with corresponding fading of the colors
