A Chinese carved lacquerware vase of inverted baluster form with funnel-shaped neck and spread foot (these banded in bronze), the body densely decorated with lotuses, chrysanthemums, ruyi heads, floral scroll, & two large panels of pairs of dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls, all against a contrasting ground of diapered red, the interior & underside both a glossy royal blue lacquer.
