This embroidered cloth was made in the early 19th century and was made on sheer fabric. The embroidered illustration features several houses stacked on top of each other with four figures depicted in the center. The first to appear on the bottom right-hand corner appear to be a pair of elderly men who walk across a garden bridge. The other two are a mother and child who appear to be going inside holding hands. D: 6.9 x 30 in ( 17.5 x 76.2 cm) Condition: A noticeable stain on the top half of the embroidery. A hole in the bottom right-hand corner.
