用珍贵的海南黄花梨为材。设计精巧，制作精良。由套盒和提篮组合而成。盒呈长方形，由三套盒、一暗格、一盖扣合而成。边线各起棱，线条遒劲，余者光素无纹，将黄花梨的美丽纹理展现无遗。盖板由黄花梨独木制成，木纹似鬼脸，若云霞，令人叹为观止。提篮由托泥和弓字提梁组成，边角接头均用榫卯连接，同时又用精美的白铜拷边加固。提梁和顶盖之间用一杆白铜横杆串联，一端有孔，用于上锁。这种款式的提盒在清代以来流行一时，私密信物等。打磨精细，材美工良，保存完好，兼具实用与鉴赏之价值，值得珍藏。
