All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color. The main body adorned with abundant ripe lychee tree, interspersed with fresh foliage, banded and enclosed with triple fine blue rings. The foot rim decorated in geometric petals pattern with flowers blooms and scrolling tendril. The shoulder festooned with flowers blooms interspersed with scrolling interlocking ruyi. The foot base and the shoulder banded and enclosed with double fine blue rings. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the underglaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black.
