此碗花口，直壁深腹，内外施满釉，圈足，足底露胎呈火石红色。花口曲折若秋菊盛放。内底贴塑牡丹花纹样，花朵细巧。釉质醇润厚糯，釉色洁净青碧，平匀无瑕。龙泉窑为中国青瓷史上之重要窑场。北宋已有窑产，彼时多模仿越窑产品。至南宋逐渐发展出自己独特的风格。南宋中后期，龙泉窑逐渐将石灰釉转为石灰碱釉，发展出成熟的多次上釉技术，使得釉质醇厚，釉色青碧如玉，成为一时名品。而本器碧色盈盈，淑影内敛，花瓣雕浮，起伏有致。其制作精雅，气质纯恬，实属龙泉青瓷珍品。
