Description

落花流水，语出唐代诗人李群玉《奉和张舍人送秦炼师归岑公山》诗：「兰浦苍苍春欲暮，落花流水怨离襟」句。明天顺三年（1459年），王佐增补《新增格古要论》卷八「古锦」条谓：「今苏州府有落花流水锦及各色锦」，说明此纹饰应最早源自丝织品图案，后成为明清器物之经典装饰题材，如此剔红盖盒即为此题材之代表作。此盒平顶直壁，子母口相合，盒内髹黑漆，外壁通体以剔红工艺装饰。此盒髹漆厚重，漆色红艳，漆质坚脆，雕工精细奇巧。盒盖满雕水面波浪涌起，落英缤纷，随水飘零，有落花流水之意，构图繁缛而颇具法度，侧壁满雕锦地花纹，表现了制作者精妙的构思和高超的技艺，是一件代表清乾隆时期剔红典型风格的作品。来源：1.邦瀚斯2.From the Summer Palace，Peking
