Description

此花插取材整块翡翠雕刻，题材为头上尾下呈跳跃状的鱼化龙。龙首鱼身，龙首张口朝天，以供插花之用。鱼身鳞片层层，双目圆睁，张嘴低吼，灵活生动，鱼鳍舒展，奋力跃身于水浪之上。鱼化龙，是“龙鱼互变”的体现，《山海经·大荒西经》有“风道北来，天乃大水泉，蛇乃化为鱼。”的记载，可见其传说神话流传甚久。匠人将鱼化龙跃出水面的瞬间深入刻画，尽显玉匠之细琢精工。整器用料大方，既可做花插，亦可陈设欣赏。
