A large, Ming dynasty, blue & bone white, Chinese porcelain plate, the face with a pair of phoenixes between tall plants beneath a large flower, with five shaped panels of flowers within a diapered band around the curving lip, the underside with loose splashes of pale blue, the base & underside with rough coarse kiln grit. D: 10 7/16" (26.5cm) Condition: In very good condition with some scratches & breaks in the glaze (from the time of manufacture & from being stacked with similar rough bottomed plates).
