Of circular section centered with an aperture, each side carved with a dense network of raised spirals, the inner and outer edges with a raised rim, the translucent stone shifting to a soft russet hue. 2.45 inch Diameter (6.22 cm)Background: The bi is a type of circular ancient Chinese jade artifact. The earliest bi were produced in the Neolithic period, particularly by the Liangzhu culture. Bi discs are consistently found with heaven and earth-like imagery.
