Wu Hufan is a Chinese, 20th century, male. Born 1894, in Jiangsu; died 1968. Painter. Landscapes, flowers, birds. Wu Hufan, a painter of the academic school, was active in Shanghai. His style is highly detailed. During the Cultural Revolution he was condemned as a rightist and had his works confiscated. He suffered a breakdown as a result of this experience and committed suicide in hospital.
