16th century AD. A tubular silver whistle, with applied ropework band to open end, the main tube with two coiled wire bands, the larger with three loops, two high-relief chevrons with fleur-de-lys and rosettes on a textured background; the mouthpiece angled with semi-circular aperture and no 'pea'.
