Mainly Late Period, 664-332 BC. A group of glazed composition scarabs comprising: a large blue scarab with two attachment holes to the outer edge, old collector's label '23' to the base; a green scarab with raised cartouche underneath; a blue flat-section scaraboid on a rectangular base; a green stone scarab, the underside engraved with an advancing boar; a small blue scarab with hieroglyphics and three later scarabs. 17.8 grams total, 7-37mm (1/4 - 1 1/2"). From the private collection of jewellery designer Natalia Josca (1933-2007), New York, USA; her collection formed personally from 1972-early 1980s, much of which was later made into designer jewellery.
