Pair of Zaccagnini fruit coolers with gilt handles. Each is decorated with cameo painting of a woman's head. Handles are in the form of a winged woman's bust. Signed on bottom of each: Italy 1496/ 589, K. B./ N. Y. Dimensions are: 11 1/2 in (29.2 cm) tall with lids X 8 7/8 in (22.5 cm) wide with handles X 6 1/2 in (16.5 cm) deep. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Both are free of breaks, cracks, or restoration. There is a chip to the head of one handle. Scattered wear to gold.
