款识：曾见文湖州寒林竹石卷，宋思陵题曰暮霭横看。黄山谷郭大书于后，而王叔明作修竹远山。 亦称湖州此卷笔力不在郭熙之下。养吾先生雅属，乙酉六月吴湖帆。|钤印：「吴湖帆印」、「倩盦书印」|注：上款人徐宗浩（1880-1957），字养吾，号石雪，斋名岁寒堂，祖籍江苏武进，久居北京通州，与白石老人交好。书画篆刻，吟咏鉴藏，以至装潢字画碑帖等，无不精诣。精山水、松、竹石，尤善画竹。有《论竹绝句》数十首，能道古人之秘；又著有《墨竹述要》，已梓行。另《画竹人传》十二卷。
