此佩由和田玉籽料雕就，玉质细腻油润，白度尤佳，侧面留局部洒金皮色。作者在玉佩正面以浮雕手法雕饰大自在观音，观音造型颇具特色，作者用长条的阳起线勾勒出观音的鼻梁，上端凸起小圆珠，下端辅以简化唇形，由此隐现整个观音面部轮廓，从其中尤见魏晋石窟造像古意盎然的超然之韵，画面虽简，意境却郁勃澹宕，耐人寻味。王一卜：苏州玉雕名家款识：一卜山人 附作者收藏证书
