A Chinese white jade plaque with a silver chain dating from the 19th century. The plaque is carved with a double happiness Shi character with bats and floral tracery. Dimensions are: the plaque measures 3 in. tall X 2 1/4 in. wide, necklace is 21 inches long; plaque measures 7.6 cm tall X 5.7 cm wide, necklace is 53.3 cm long. All measurements are approximate.
