A Chinese underglaze red snuff bottle dating to the 19th century with a wooden stand and a stopper. The snuff bottle features the zodiac animals. Dimensions are: 2 1/2 in. tall X 1 3/8 in. wide; 6.4 cm tall X 3.5 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The snuff bottle is in good condition, the stopper has been glued . Provenance: From Mrs. Przecha in Southern California. Her late step father was a military doctor and was stationed in Tianjin in the 1920s, these items were acquired during the his stay in Tianjing.
