A Chinese iron-red porcelain lidded bowl dating to the 18th century. The interior of the bowl depicts two women in a courtly landscape. The exterior features floral motifs and butterflies. The lid has a pomegranate finial with similar decoration. Dimensions are: 5 in. tall X 5 3/4 in. wide; 12.7 cm tall X 14.6 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The pomegranate on the lid has a chip, with glaze pops and chips to the rim of lid and the bowl. Also has loss of glaze surface in some areas.
