A pair of Chinese porcelain cups with a 4-character Tongzhi mark and of the period. Both cups depict 5 figures in a courtly landscape with a horse. Dimensions are: 2 3/4 in. tall X 3 in. wide; 7 cm tall X 7.6 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: One cup has a chip to the rim, a large break has been repaired, and has a hairline crack. Other cup has a chip to the rim and 3 cracks. Provenance: From Mr. Cheng in Southern California.
