A Shiwan kiln Budai seated on a cushion from the 19th century. Budai has turquoise ground robes and the cushion is white ground. The figure has a well carved wooden stand. Dimensions are 7 1/4 inches tall X 6 1/4 inches wide. The stand is 2 inches tall. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good overall condition. The stand has some damage. Provenance: From a Toronto, Canada collector who collected all of the items in Hong Kong prior to the 1970s.
