A set of 4 Chinese watercolor and ink paintings on paper of birds by Fu Souyi. Each is mounted on a paper backing. Two of the paintings are marked with 1 seal and 1 signature; the other two are marked with 1 seal and an inscription. Dimensions are: 14 3/4 in. tall X 20 1/2 in. wide; 37.5 cm tall X 52.1 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The paintings have significant worm damage, creasing, and water staining. Provenance: From a collector in Northern Maryland, whose father collected them in Hong Kong prior to the 1950s.
