此幅唐卡表现的主尊为藏传佛教常见的十八罗汉题材中的一位，称大乘和尚，西藏文献称之为汉僧，形象来源于中原地区流行的大肚弥勒、布袋和尚。主尊居画面中央，半侧身坐姿，圆头大耳，笑容可掬，身披红色镶绿边的宽大袈裟，袒胸露乳，大腹便便，左手举于身体左侧，手心托一寿桃，右手当胸持念珠。在其身旁有孩童正在摘果实，有的在切切私语，显得十分天真顽皮。这一情景无疑也来源于中原地区流行“五子戏弥勒”的题材。
