Isokon bent ply 'Long Chair', circa 1940, designed by Marcel Breuer (1902-1981), 130cm long, together with original foam seat cushion. Provenance - Purchased by the vendor's uncle, David Goldhill (architect) who qualified circa 1939. This chair his first purchase after qualifying. Based in London during his career, work included the design of Camden Mews as well as projects on the London Underground.
