王龙文(1864～1923)，派名代仁，字泽寰，号平养居士，叉号髯俯，补泉，双峰县三塘铺镇人。祖籍江西吉安府庐陵县永福乡官田。光绪廿一年(1895)以一甲第=名进士及第，俗称“探花”。为官京师时，尝慷慨上书言天下事，颇有长儒之风。庚子(1900)之变，附和义和团，力主灭洋。后清廷失败，迫于议和压力，杀戮或革除主战者，他被夺官归里。其后在箴言、船山等书院掌教。颇有声誉。又回原籍江西庐陵主修县志。著有《平养堂疏稿》一卷、《平养文待》十六卷、文待附录一卷、《平养诗存》：誊、《平养联存》一卷。
