A Qajar damascened and engraved ewer and basin, Iran, 19th century, the ewer on a spreading foot, with bulbous body rising to a slender waist and flaring mouth, domed cover rising to a pointed lid set with turquoise, spout with bulbous end and dragon headed handle, decorated either side to body with cartouche engraved with flowers, handle with engraved and danascened scrolling vine; the basin of squat form with flared rim, the rim decorated with a series of split palmette motifs on a floral and damascened ground, 45cm. high overall (2) Please refer to department for condition report
