An Ottoman gilt-metal thread embroidered saddle cloth, Bukhara or Ottoman Provinces, 19th century, the brown satin ground embroidered with three large medallions containing stylized ewer forms and boteh motifs, on a field of lobes motifs with abstract floral and vegetal designs, highlights picked out in pink and purple silk thread, border of alternating flower heads and tulip motifs, 112 x 164cm.
