A George III satinwood crossbanded and line inlaid card table, the fold over top enclosing grey baize lined playing surface, raised on square tapering legs, branded stamp to underside 'Claremont', together with applied paper label 'HRH The Duchess of Albany', 74cm high, 91cm wide, 43cm deep Note : According to the stamp and label underneath, this table is believed to have come from the property of H.R.H. Princess Helen (d.1922), Duchess of Albany, who lived at Claremont until 1922, wife of H.R.H. Prince Leopold (d.1884), Duke of Albany, youngest son of Queen Victoria, who occupied Claremont from 1882. Please refer to department for condition report
