A set of eight George III mahogany dining chairs, circa 1790, after a design by Thomas Sheraton, including one armchair of near identical design to the set, each pierced trellis back above a tapering rectangular padded seat, on reeded turned tapering legs, each 84cm high, 57cm wide, 50cm deep Provenance: John Scott, 1st Earl of Eldon. By descent to the present vendor, removed from Encombe House, Dorset.
