MEDAILLONTEPPICH / DRACHENTEPPICH, Ende 19. Jh.; polychrome Farbigkeit in Grün, Hellblau, Gelb und Weiß. Abstrahiertes und stilisiertes Dekor. Hauptfeld mit rotem Fond. Darauf zwei große hexagonale, hakenbesetzte Medaillons mit wasserblauem Fond sowie zwie stilisierte florale Medaillon mit Blütenbesatz, hellgrünem Fond und roter Mitte; flankiert von stilisiertem Floraldekor; die Zwickel gestaltet mit stilisiertem Floraldekor auf grünem Grund. Breite gelbgrundige Hauptbordüre mit stilisiertem, mäanderndem Drachen- oder Phönixmotiv. Nebenbordüren mit grafischem Dekor. Der Teppich im Galerieformat stammt wohl aus dem Heris-Gebiet (Heriz / Persien), weist jedoch Einflüssse kaukasischer Kasak-Teppiche auf. L. ca. 274 cm x B. ca. 82 cm (Alters- und Gebrauchspuren, Flor stärker belaufen, partielle Restaurierungen). Aus dem Nachlass eines passionierten Teppichsammlers. On it are two large hexagonal, hook-set medallions with a water-blue background and two stylized floral medallions with flowers, light green background and a red center; flanked by stylized floral decor; the gusset is designed with stylized floral decor on a green background. Wide yellow-ground main border with a stylized, meandering dragon or phoenix motif. Side borders with graphic decor. The carpet in gallery format probably comes from the Heris area (Heriz / Persia), but has influences from Caucasian Kazak carpets.
