Designed by Alexander Jackson Davis (1803-1892), New York, Mady by Burns and Brother, New York, for Ericstan, Tarrytown, New York, circa 1857. H: 47 in. (armchairs) and 44 in. (side chairs). PROVENANCE: Private Collection. Freeman's, Philadelphia, PA, November 15, 2017. Descendents of Alfrederick Smith Hatch to the present owner. Collection of Alfrederick Smith Hatch (1829-1906).
