Arabic work of 156 leaves, in black "naskh" on 21 lines per page, opening with a double frontispiece illuminated by hand, titles of suras illuminated by hand in red on a gold background, separations of verses marked by a golden pastille, and comments in Persian in the margins.
Beautiful lacquered papier-mâché binding with floral decoration.

A lithographic copy on paper, 156ff, 21ll. of black naskh to the page, Surah headings in red over golden ground within lobed cartouches with arabesque finials. Persian notes in the margins, double finely illuminated opening page. Papier mâché binding decorated with flower over red ground.
