Miniature portrait of Anne Wodehouse (Gurdon) (ca. 1801-1880), the year of her marriage to Henry Wodehouse (son of John Wodehouse, 2nd Baron Wodehouse of Kimberley and Charlotte Laura Norris). Henry Collen (1798-1879) was an English miniature portrait painter to Queen Victoria. Later in life he turned to the new medium of photography, and became the first professional calotypist in London.
