A shawl England, circa 1860 Silk. Paisley pattern. Also in very good condition in terms of colour. Minor damage to fringes. 350 x 164 cm. Provenance: according to attached letter (Anna Freiin von Dobeneck dated 15.09.1929), the shawl was a gift from Queen Victoria to Sophie Freiin von Dobeneck during her time as a tutor (1862-1866) at the court of Crown Prince Frederick of Prussia. Shawl England, um 1860 Seide. Paisley-Dekor. Guter Erhaltungszustand, auch farblich. Fransenränder etwas besch. 350 x 164 cm. Provenienz: lt. beil. Schreiben Anna Freiin v. Dobeneck vom 15.09.1929 war der Shawl ein Geschenk Königin Victorias von England an Sophie Freiin v. Dobeneck während deren Zeit als Erzieherin (1862-1866) am Hofe des Kronprinzen Friedrich von Preußen.
