A Chinese famille rose porcelain snuff bottle with a green stone stopper, Qianlong mark and period. The snuff bottle is decorated with two famille rose landscape roundels with blue-ground low relief dragon carvings. There is also a four-character mark on the bottom of the snuff bottle. Dimensions are: 2 1/2 inches tall X 1 inch wide, 6.4 cm tall X 2.5 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Minor age wear, otherwise good condition. Provenance: From Mr. & Mrs. Yuen in Minnesota. Mrs. Yuen’s father, Chen Kangjue, operated an antiques shop in Yan’an Road, Shanghai from 1940 to 1966.
