This beautiful Japanese Sumida-gawa partially dripped glazed pottery bowl with four three-dimensional figures with finely detailed faces peering over the undulating rim, green glazed interior with a multi-colored dripped glazed, orange ribbed exterior and base with incised signature by Inoue Ryosai. It dates to the late Meiji period (1868-1912) Size: 8 ½" Diameter Condition: good antique condition with reasonable signs of old age.
