Antique 19th century Japanese blue and white glazed hibachi. Rim is stamped with a repeating motif. Sides are hand painted with rural coastal village scenes. Vario firing flaws throughout, including glaze skips, popped air bubbles, and a firing crack to center base. A water stain to base edge jt under the sea faring vessel. Short hairline crack to rim approximately 2" in length. No chips to top or bottom rim.
