This is a Lamp BASE that had a triple light bulb holder with chains hanging from each. It was taken apart becae the cord had been cut off due to it's age and wear. Antique around late 1800's. Some of the gilding has rubbed off near the bottom of the neck but other than that the Gold is jt beautiful. This is the living room size as the pottery measures 18 1/2 inches with only measuring the pottery.
