This purchased from an estate sale is a rare Japanese art pottery chop platter.  This piece is not signed but another piece purchased with it is signed in Japanese.  The platter measures 12 3/4" and has a crackle finish.  It is cream in color with painted scholars in brown with bamboo branches on the side.  This is in excellent ed condition.  There is a matching bowl for sale in a separate auction as well. 6/25/17 V
