Large Japanese Meiji Satsuma Vase with Samurai & Aristocrats. Shipped with PS Priority Mail. Meiji period Japanese, large finely painted satsuma vase. It is decorated with two samurai on one panel and two aristocratic men and women on another panel. It has slightly raised enamel and floral decoration between the panels. There is a sixteen- petal Chrysanthemums around the neck of the vase, and white raised enamel ornaments on the bottom. The faces of the samurai and aristocrats are finely painted and has natural tones. The vase is in excellent condition with no cracks,chips,losses,wear,hairline or restorations. Please see pictures.
