A book of collected prayers and religious poems, including Al-Jazuli's Dala'il al-Khayrat, with two illuminated illustrations of the holy sanctuary in Medina, copied by Muhammad al-Fawzi, a pupil of Muhammad Amin al-Wehbi, a pupil of Muhammad al-Taher al-Zuhni Ottoman, provincial, dated AH 1285/AD 1868-89 Arabic and Ottoman Turkish manuscript on paper, 106 leaves, 11 lines to the page written in naskhi script in black ink, gold roundels decorated with alternating blue and red dots, inner margins ruled in gold, catchwords, occasional illuminated devices in outer margins, four illuminated headpieces in colours and gold, some edges frayed, red morocco with stamped central medallions and florets, with flap, doublures of marbled paper 164 x 110 mm.
