Two Umayyad silver dirhams from the reign of Hisham (AD 724-743) Cordoba, Andalusia, dated AH 108/ AD 726-727 and AH 119/ AD 737-738 each with four lines of inscription in kufic surrounded by a band of inscription in kufic to one side and three lines of inscription in kufic surrounded by a band of inscription in kufic to the other, areas of minor weakness, otherwise both extremely fine and rare each 27 mm. approx.; 2.93 and 2.95 g.
