Chinese sancai glazed pottery guardian figure of Lokapala, Tang dynasty (618-907 CE), shaped with large bulging eyes and dramatic features adorned with military garb standing above a bull, the garb, legs and the mount splashed with a mottled three colored (sancai) glaze.
