Karel Vaňura (b. 1937), a glass bottle vase, with black, white and yellow enamel paints, signed and dated 59, bears blue collection label number 74, 38.5cm high Czech artist Karel Vanura was a key figure in the 20th century revival of Bohemian glass painting. A similar vase dating from the same year is held in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum, London (C.103-1984).
