A set of ten oak and upholstered dining chairs, by the Edward Barnsley workshops, circa 1998, to include a pair of armchairs, the lancet-shaped padded backs above padded seats on chamfered square legs, each chair stamped BARNSLEY to underside of the seat rails, the side chairs each 48cm wide, 110cm high, 52cm deep, the arm chairs each; 57.5cm wide, 123cm high, 58.5cm deep Provenance: Sotheby's Olympia 29 May 2003, lot 41 (£1,680 hammer) Condition Report: Old marks and stains to the timber. Slightly tired from use showing in wear to upholstery with varying stains and marks and one with small tear to corner of seat. Frames with some signs of water spotting- notably to the two armchairs and to the bottom 1cm of most feet.. Condition Report Disclaimer
