A George III mahogany serpentine fronted serving table, circa 1780, the top crossbanded and inlaid with stringing, the shaped top also tapering at the sides, the plain frieze with a moulded edge, above fluted square section legs, 88cm high, 150cm wide, 68cm deep Condition Report: Old marks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old chips and splits. Some additional old scratches to the top, some marks/ indentation disguised by old filler in small areas. Unusual design with side angles of sides being tapered. Natural fading to the top. This could be made darker/ more rich again with attention by a restorer.
