A Chinese laque burgauté double snuff bottle, probably late Qing dynasty, modelled as a water buffalo wearing a saddle cloth and carrying two bottles, height 7.8cm (repaired and missing a stopper), together with a small group of other South-east Asian works of art including a bronze Buddhistic lion censer and cover, height 14.5cm, a Canton export lacquer small box with hinged lid, length 9.7cm, and a plated box and cover of oval form with engraved lines of calligraphic text opposite a scene of two figures, height 7.6cm (some faults).
